You Lose Campaign Targets Teens

Last year, Trauma One Shands Jacksonville hired Media Design to come up with a concept for underage drinking that would grab the attention of teenagers. The "You Lose" poster and die-cut cards Media Design produced were distributed at local high schools and a special event filled with troubled teens. The response was the best they had ever received. The You Tube spoof was an instant winner. The piece was realistic, pretty gross and just graphic enough to hit the message home and make it stick.

Recently Media Design had the opportunity to create a brand new "You Lose" project highlighting the dangers of texting while driving. With teen auto accidents on the rise, Mothers Against Brain Injury teamed up once again with TraumaOne and the Allstate Foundation. Together they are promoting a Teen Driving PSA Contest throughout Northeast Florida high schools. You can see last year's winning PSA from Middleburg High School at First Coast News.

Everyone at Media Design got into the fun of staging an auto accident with major trauma to the head. Special thanks goes out to Alex, our victim. He did a great job acting unconscious and wasn’t afraid of getting bloody.

Fast Turnaround for Up-And-Coming Event Venue

Looking for an original place to host a special celebration or your next business meeting? Then you need to check out downtown Jacksonville's 927, located at 927 W Forsyth Street.

After restoring and renovating a vacant three-story building near the Prime Osborn Convention center, 927 business owners were looking to quickly introduce their unique space to Northeast Florida. Media Design was in charge of creating a look that would appeal to a wide range of clients, from brides planning their receptions to families celebrating major milestones to business leaders orchestrating important meetings.

Time was of the essence, but the design needed to reflect the mix of urban and traditional influences of the building and it's decor. We created a custom background and chose fonts that represent the fun balance of elegance and casualness which radiates from 927. The consistent image we designed flows from all the printed collateral pieces (a full color brochure, postcards, business cards and promotional flyers) to the 927 events website.
