Media Design Mentioned in Floridian View

In the book review for "A Fairy Tale Fit For a Tea Party" by Jeanne Willard, our very own Keith Ferguson is mentioned. The book in question is "The Freedom Fairy Tale" written by our good friend and preferred veterinarian Dr. John Rossi. We are very proud to have been able to work on this project and are excited to see some fruits for all the labor.

Check out the full article at the Floridian View and don't forget to visit The Freedom Fairy Tale website for everything you need to know about this wonderful book. Right now, we're running a special deal so be sure to order in time for Christmas!

Open the Gates to Paradise

Looking for an ideal place to retire or a tropical vacation home? Palacio Eco Estates is a new, eco-friendly development underway in southern Belize. Media Design recently launched their website introducing Palacio to the world.

Palacio Eco Estates is surrounded by a rich and diverse plethora of eco-systems such as forests, rivers, lagoons, creeks, rain forests, great reefs, streams and savannas. The development is located in the Stann Creek district between the Maya mountains and pristine beaches.

The website highlights the benefits of life in Belize, community plans for the neighborhood, solar power construction and many eco-smart features. The web colors, theme and images balance the bright, tropical essence with the natural, relaxing elements of Belize.

Explore Palacio’s website for a taste of tropical living, adventure, historical ruins, exotic wildlife, breathtaking scenery and a chance to unwind and relax.

Stay Clean, Go Green!

Media Design is seeing green – not with envy but for Jacksonville’s new GrnGrp, “The Greene Group”. If you’re looking for experts in sanitization using certified green chemicals for cleaner, healthier results, GrnGrp is the way to go. They specialize in commercial cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, floors and much more.

We were happy to have the opportunity to develop GrnGrp’s identity logo and marketing package to get them started. A fresh, clean (no pun intended) look was created and used throughout their business cards, decals and brochures. We then carried over the consistent, environmentally friendly theme throughout the GrnGrp.com website that we designed and recently launched last month.

Warning - You Better Watch Out!

Have you noticed an increase of local and state law enforcement officers on the roads lately? Well, there's a reason - it's that time of year again for the National Click It or Ticket campaign. This began to help reduce the number of serious injuries resulting from passengers not wearing their safety seat belts. It has helped create the highest national seat belt usage rate of 85%.

Media Design has been working hard to promote safety along with our Florida Department of Transportation's Community Traffic Safety Team. We designed and printed the "Buckle Up" bumper sticker, mirror hangers and safety flyers as well as setup the church fans for distribution throughout Northeast Florida during this year's Buckle Up Florida, Click It or Ticket wave.

Working to Keep Kids Safe

Media Design and Price William County of Virginia teamed up to tackle the tough pre-teen demographic. Following the Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue's motto of "Keeping you Safe At Home... At Play... And On the Way!", we targeted key safety concerns where injuries and deaths are occurring among our youth.

Brightly colored pop-art on a modern, grungy background was used for the large poster, bookmark and 12-page activity booklet. This helps attract the tweens and reinforces good safety habits in a fun and interactive way.

Celebrate in Style

When you have a special event, why not make the first impression a grand one? Take the boring, old invitation and give it a twist. Get a little crafty, spend just a few extra minutes and create an impact that will set the stage for a great theme.
Any truly special occasion, like graduations, birthday milestones, bridal showers, holiday parties, etc. deserve a unique announcement. Take this oriental themed invitation created by Media Design. Guests immediately get in the mood for a festive, Asian style party. Bright colors, custom illustrations and layered elements take this card to a whole new level. The fuchsia base was toped by a white shaped takeout box with a hot pink pagoda. The top was open so the actual bright orange invite could be pulled out by two flat chop sticks. The invitations were mailed in white translucent envelopes that really helped it stand out from all the junk mail.

The team at Media Design loves the opportunity to design something totally new and creative. Invitations are a wonderful chance to let limitations go and just have fun!
